I keep getting the error message that Firefox has encountered a problem and stopped working .

uninstalled and re installed several times an same problem .

google chrome and IE are fine .

what is going on ?

Are you using the latest version? I had the exact same problem 2 weeks ago ago, but I was using an outdated version. Ever since I updated it, it works fine.

I think so , the version I downloaded last was 14.01 .

I'm on a really old firefox (v3.6.17) as that's all my mac mini can run until I update the OS & it's fine for me

I don't know if others think this or not, but it is in my opinion that the browsers of old have got a bit too top heavy now as everything aside from Camino and Avant runs like a slug, Opera is still pretty fast, but the demands that thing makes on the cpu are horrible.

Is it the internet is becoming too media rich now ?
