I'll start.

Found a Weider Pro 9635 dual stack multi-station home gym w. extra plates on kijiji for $100 (£63). Guy is drywalling his basement and it was in the way. Looks like it was used a half a dozen times.

Walked in the front door. Living room has aprox. the same square footage as my house. Den off the living room (open concept) has aprox. the same square footage as my house. Damn.

Don't know why, but I can never quite feel at home on domestic kit.

I wouldn't mind but not all gym stuff has been really good - some of the kit in the late 80s and early 90s was a bit shonky.

All the same, I'm coming around to the view that having gym stuff at home can be a boon.

What you need is a big barn, loads of snow, and go frog leaping with a big old beam on your shoulders. Then lift some people in some kind of horse cart thing, with a rope.

Films have taught me nothing, I swear...
