Am i going mad or is the majority of bikes displayed on here ridden by
really tall people or is there a contest for the longest seat post.

I'm 6' 1 and ride 17-18" frames with long seat posts, as the pix of my bikes in my sig. will attest... :wink:

Actually I think it's the other way around in that there are too many midget bikes here necessitating stupidly long seat posts followed by said midget frames being sold due to cracks in the seat tube :lol:

My theory is that people crank the seatpost up for photos of their bike as it looks cool.

Guys using incorrectly sized bikes I see it all the time on here.

To add i do chuckle when i see a deep countryside / mountain top shot of a pristine spotless not a spec of dust dirt dogs doo to be seen on a much loved retro beauty. i can only conclude the use of a helicopter.

then there will be a guaranteed posted reply of "glad to see it being ridden"

Compact frames with long seat posts always make me think that you have nicked a kids bike and are doing a runner from the cops LOL

Myabe its because most are cleaned regularly.

And speaking personally, by the time the bike is nice and filthy, I'm **** and CBA to start snapping pics :lol:
