All hail a humble USB charger!

Just spent the week on the move around Scotland haunting BT exchanges in the middle of the night, just me and the flocks of Haggis for company.

One humble little USB car charger kept my phone alive, my satnav, my DAB radio and my life alive whilst on this journey.

Phone tethering allowed for sending work emails and RB browsing out in the wilds and I'm very grateful for it all.

Just had my first proper night sleep in a bed (slept in the van) and a shower.

Happy days!

Taking advantage of those liberal Scottish Rights Of Way laws, Mark?

All the best,

My phone is what I use for all three of those functions (yes, including true DAB / DAB+), and t'internet, and charges over USB, and isn't an iPhone - it's apparently a dead platform / OS.

Yes, and yes.

Symbian Anna (not "upgrading" - really downgrading - to Belle), and N8.

Ahh symbian, so simple.
My old sony ericsson on symbian can do the majority of things an iphone can do. And for free.
