Univise as in bench mounted vice, vise things for crushing the living daylights out of anything delicate, anyone heard of the make ?

It's old, so a vintage tool, but I can't find much about them.

I just got one as am gearing up to starting out again, my last one broke just before Xmas when I hit it too hard with the wrong kind of hammer.

Yeah, they did do a rather useful swivelling machine vice, I have used one in the past but of the actual company, their vintage I can find nothing, but think they may be American.
