'Cheap' Bike workstand?

Does that clamp the seatpost sufficiently?

At 5' it's a bit short for me if holding the top tube (which i imagine is the more stable way to work with it).

It holds the bike steady if clamped by the seatpost, I prefer to clamp it on the top tube about 4" in front of the seat tube, the bike is better balanced but the stand is sturdy enough with a wide footprint to allow the bike to be clamped / rotated in almost any position. As for the maximum working height I don't have any problems with it.

I've got a couple of year old Minoura much like this but without the tool tray for £50 posted. RRP of £100

Mine's the same as kens. Once you've got it, you'll wonder how you did without it ;)
