Having just redecorated my dining room, the 'music centre' looks slightly dated... :D

Orders from the wife are that speakers on the floor are out, the turntable went years back (shame because flicking through the soft cell, human league, japan, ABC seemed like a good night's audio fun) and even a CD sliding carriage popping effortlessly out from the Denon seems old hat... :shock:

Is it time to dump a B&W Zeppelin Air onto the card and be done with...

Man up and stick with the separates.


Buy a decent surround amp, hide some small speakers and a big sub somewhere to keep the wifey happy - iPod will sound good via a proper docking station.

Actually I think I had one of these in 1983 from comet. Took it back and started on my HiFi seperates road to continual upgrading............
