Retrobike Rider
I've bust the rear rim on my Yeti. So do i put silver or black rims on?
The silver ones are from my ss for the photos.

They'll be built on black king hubs with silver spokes either colour rim.

Your thoughts please

Silver look better in my mind. They don't make the wheels stand out as much as the black ones and therefore makes the look of the bike more balanced. They also suit the silver rear more.
 
Silver.

Having seen your Yeti with silver rims, think I might go the same way on my ASR when the time comes. They suit the back end nicely.

Usually go for black, but not on your bike.

Nice bike BTW - been thinking of a modern XC full bouncer and like the look of the 575's!

I've read a few comments about the silver looking cheap. To me the black looks heavy, compared with the silver. The black wheels are 7yrs old from a Klein i built with full black finishing kit.
Still not sure :roll:

Gump, you getting the full carbon back end? :cool:

Defo, silver makes it look more flighty.. Plus as said up top, matches the rear end perfectly.. :cool:
