I love this. Maybe because its Friday and I have nothing better to do, but I love picking apart people's mislabeled ebay auctions when it comes to bikes. Mostly because I KNOW they will get defensive and start making shi*t up to defend what a rumor they heard about Brand X framebuilder making Brand Y 's top of the line frames in 1999 or whatever.

One guy told me the 2000 model had the "special" two hole-drilled disc tab which mounted on the chainstay, which was an improvement over the inferior ISO seatstay mounted ones.

Its just good sport.

Working in the motor industry I've seen a few auctions were sellers (traders not private) have advertised parts as suitable for certain vehicles when they clearly are not, in fact if you fitted them to the vehicles suggested it would make them dangerous. I have sent messages to sellers to update the description before but most are ignored.
