Halo 'the movie'

Being a bit of an xbox halo fan I have been eagerly waiting the movie which was planned a few years back but have not heard much more. (won't buy the xbox mags on principle (ripoffs))

Has anyone heard when this is coming out or indeed it is still happening :?:

After the total flop that was doom (the movie) its probably been shelved.

it got a bit low budget to the end plus the sort of 'game play' camera angle thing made it a bit pants for me.

on the Halo side tho, I'm supprised they hav'nt made an cartoon or CG version yet.

Films based on games - generally not a good idea.

Tomb Raider (is ok 'cos Jolie is in it 'pre-skinny')

...yeah Doom film is pretty odd. Wierd bit where it turns into a first person shooter (as a respect to the game I reckon) but its pretty sh*te...
