Lockdown Health Rides!

Miss my old 26'er Five but onwards & upwards

Just winterfied this P7. Done it before but this time it can stay like this as a winter/foul weather commuter. Swapped a few other bits on it today so took it out for the ride-a-day.

Re:

I can just about see in my mind's eye someone piling along some single track, getting air off the lip of that path down the embankment in picture three and then screaming in horror at the three coal wagons directly across his path !

Looks like a nice day, cloud and snow here for a lot of it.

Re:

Lucky you guys. Day 16 of 100% lockdown here in Malaysia, no cycling no jogging. Only allowed out (1 person alone) for groceries.
Been running a 26er on the dumb trainer for years but now embraced Zwift and it’s keeping me sane. Switched to road bike, just a bluetooth rear wheel sensor and away we go. Great fun and decent enough feeling of escape. Meeting up with mates for virtual rides etc. The social aspect is really nice during these strange times.

Re:

Out every day. At least 10 miles. Different route each time. Beautiful skies. Time of day critical- early is best.

Common social distancing employed by walkers is to stop in the middle of the track / path, and then right at the last second call their loose dog over.....

Runners- keep running 2/3 abreast, never mind anyone coming the other way or lack of passing space, I'll deal with it for you. Good on ya!

out with the brothers Grimm ,wee Angus is on tag along, working late tonight but going to go out again tomorrow after work ,we will have covered 50 miles with the tag along this week
