Cyclist and the demise of brotherhood/friendship.

Re:

I might be jumping in here out of turn but I don't own anything less than 20 years old and find that there's a general snobbery by this year's model and matching kit.

I commute a 40+ mile journey 2-3 times a week, which is mostly off-road (I'm very lucky) and older riders / older bikes tend to say Hi, but flash Harry just rides at me and barges me out of the way. E-bikes are the worst, never slow down when oncoming, and get really snotty if you overtake....

I've been severely limited ever since I broke my waving finger.

I find i'm better off riding on my own. Then i don't upset/annoy people. I hate it when people tell me what to ride.

After being released from the South, I find myself embracing the Northern norm of talking to everyone.... especially when the kids are with me.... they love it! :D
