It's centralised and more economic. Get the noise and fumes out of the cities.
Batteries are a problem, they can recycle parts and they are improving tech to make it better with fast charge and recyclable. Just as that did over the past 100 years odd with petrols.
They aren't just leaving it at what we have, let alone figuring out how the people who park thier cars over the pavement and cycle path will charge the things. It's easy on a driveway.
I never get peoples love of clinging on to petrol engines.
Time to move on and get that carbon, fully suspended, disc braked e-car.
