Hello,

Someone here is bound to know the answer. How do I know if someone has sent me money through paypal as a gift/friends and family or as a payment for goods?

I know that fees would be taken off if it wasn't a gift but if they added extra in at the payment stage is there a way of telling what sort of a payment I've received?

Cheers,

Tad

Payment for goods normally means you will have their address there, no?

I'm not sure but if you send me $1000 to my account as a friend I'll tell you on Monday

Wouldn't surprise me if Paypal kept it under wraps so you don't know if they're making a cut on your transfer. For the short time they have your money the probably make more than the 23560% APR on Quickquid.

It will say stuff about total, fee and seller eligibility, or not.
