Dirt Disciple
Since owning and building this bike I have been asked numerous times if I would sell it.
I've also said I wouldn't!!!.
I've been unable to get out and ride it as it should be due to suffering from sciatic nerve problems, so it hangs on my wall above my bed.
This is not where this bike should spend its days.
So here's that horrible question!
How much is Dave Hemmings old ride with artwork by jo burt actually worth?
And what is a fair price to ask if advertised?
I feel sick just asking.

Re:

What a real shame you're unable to ride it... I wish you all the best & good luck with the sale..

Re:

Maybe a tenner more than you bought it for?

If you don't need the dosh then just hang onto it, it's what you might call an "appreciating classic", better than money in the bank at any rate!

Hopefully your sciatic pain improves so you can ride it, had similar problems myself recently, now on the mend though, so keep thinking of those sunny days and dry(ish) trails :D

Re:

It's a difficult one as it will be highly desirable so could easily be worth 1k+ IMO buuuuuuut, since it was outed on the site for being a mega bargain when you got it that could make some people reluctant to pay big buck (on Retrobike) which may limit your market.

Best thing to do would be to list it on ebay with a great description + low start price and then make sure interested parties are informed you've listed it.

I'd love it myself but imagine it'd be out of my price range.
