I have a 98model with a blown catridge, is it possible to just put some springs in it insteed? perhaps take some stuff from a judy or an indy and just match the length?

I'm not a heavy rider and tried a judy t2 and it worked fine, I have a Bomber to that really is plush and nice but it's to high! for the frame... the sid is good looking and in good condition except for the cartridge, have found some new ones on ebay but would be nice to have springs! which means absolutely no hassle at all...

does anybody have a sketch how they look inside? or have tried this?

the fork finnished 3rd in the u23 european masters in 98, and was fitted on a titanium Bianchi... it now has newer logos but is still gourgeos

The forks are very nice, only not that easy, because every time you open the forks, you have to replace the o-rings.

There is a steel spring in the forks for the rebound, but the damper is needed against the bumpy effect.
These are the parts:

And here is the manual:

I have the whole inner works for sale if needed.
