Welded construction, brother of the lugged Vitus CL1.

Welded constuction, except for the bolted cantibosses and dropouts:

Slightly out of center welded cable hanger gives a nicely French touch. It's the same for the seatclamp slot.

Cables run hidden:

Squarish tubing for top- and downtube:

Another pic of headbadge (l). A headtube that thick won't develop cracks quickly (r). Overall it is a sturdy built frame, but it is defo lighter than my lugged CL1 frame.

I take it you can change the rear canti studs around to fit a U brake then Melvin :?:

Lee,

Good question!

...but actually I do not know the answer :(

My CL1 I pictured last year's winter does have the option to choose between U or canti ..or choose both :!: (with the right lever & I do have). The U brake mount can be seen under the chainstay. Do not know whether the bolt on studs can accommodate a U on the seatstays.
