The headtube had cracked and some numpty tried to weld it up.

They put too much heat into the titanium and fooked its properties up :(

I had it checked out by an aerospace welder and too be fair he gave it a go, but to no avail.

So now its gonna be used in the garage :wink:

That's fantastic Chris!

You should put some casters on it...!

Wouldn't want to scrape me ankles on what's left of the downtube though...

...looks like it could be pretty painful...

I thought on GT's that the stool was located on the top of the seat behind the handlebars......... :wink: :wink:
