Anyone know the maker of this cantilever unit? Just picked up a sweet complete bike with mostly 8 speed XT for $50 but also has these cool looking brakes.

Kind of seems like I may have seen one before but can't place it, anyone?

If you’ve a complete set you have done VERY well with your 50 bucks purchase!

Yep definitely Machine Tech and you got yourself a great bargain there purely based on the cantis alone.

Wow! that was quick! Yes, both front and rear, Diacompe SS5 levers, XT triggers, XT RD-M737, Race Face Turbine cranks with little wear, XT/mavic wheels, Syncors cattleprod stem, yup, feel I did very well, seller tells me the frame was built by a Rocky Mountain employee for him custom and was modeled after the Equipe model, never had decals, kinda looks like he's correct, found it on facebook marketplace of all places four hours after posting
