Is it still possible to service a Sid 1998? Last weekend I wrecked mine, it didn't like the muddy conditions in the Ardennes. After 30 km's it was in a lockout state.

I have asked in my LBS if they can service it. They say they need to call with the dutch distributor and ask them, they don't do it. If they can service it, I need to send my fork to the dutch ditributor.

What I would like to know: is it a hard job to do it yourself? IMHO it is no rocket sience. Is it also possible to switch the lowers with a recenct version (2006 or 2007 28 mm version)? This would be an option if my inner tubes are wasted.

Does anybody know where I can find a new decal set for it? I have tried eBay without succes, so if anybody knows a handy Photoshopper or designer?
