Didnt the three small holding pins around the back react to the anodise?

they look so much better mate,well done :wink:

if, right now, you could see me, you would notice a small bulb pinging above my head, and maybe the gradual look of 'an idea forming'

how easy was it to get the original anodising off?

excellent colour choice by the way ;)

A forum member showed me the way... I believe it was Neilll... Do a search of removing anodizing and you'll get the instructions. It requires some effort though.

Basically just soaked them in caustic soda (lye) and scrubbed.
