Paioli Suspension Forks

I have bought a 1991 bike with Paioli Suspension forks, these are a replacement for the original Diamondback forks.

Complete novice re forks, were Paioli forks any good back in the day?

I seem to remember Rockshox seemed to be the market leader.

Can you show us a photo of the forks? Paoli, Showa etc also made forks for other brands, so they may be similar to other models.

I just serviced OP's Diamondback and he left to Paioli forks with me to tinker with.

I had one for years. I have some spares if you need, and i know how it works and how to assemble/disassemble or modify. You could increase travel in a very simple way.
