Newbie here. Hope you all are doing well.
I'm trying to find replacement levers as my current ones appear to be leaking fluid from around the lever area.
Tried bleeding them but the dreaded 'spongyness' re appears. The bike is a canondale F800 ( lefty) mtb. Bought new in 2002. Do you guess think I should replace like for like or perhaps upgrade to Hope' or similar? It's the old 4 stud rotors so they'd likely need changed if I did upgrade.
TBH I 'd hoped just to replace with a cheaper option at this stage until I decide wether or not to buy another bike too. Meantime something needs done urgently as nearly became airborne when my brakes failed in spectacular fasion recently!
Other than this the bike has been a complete joy and given thousands of happy miles and loads of conversations starting with, '' hi there, what's wrong with your bike there appears to part of the forks missing.''
