 Post subject: Unknown Easton alu frame

Bought it on ebay in a sorry state for under £20 inclusive of postage - was listed as an early Jamis Komodo - but not so sure - as I can't find a similar on the net

The headtube badge looks similar to my 96 dakar team so I would say it is a similar year hardtail equivalent. You might check bikepedia and see what they had in the 95 to 97 range. I know the dakar team was Easton elite so I would assume this is the same. They are nice frames :)

Finally found it to be a 1999 Jamis Komodo on Bikepedia - same banana yellow colour scheme - although no more as it's currently in 2nd stage of levelling out ball burnishing before the final stage of polishing to a mirror shine - this frame is rather light - even with fitted the UN 72 bottom bracket!
