I would like to point out some differences between the campagnolo 8-speed groupsets:
I mean, record OR (off road), Icarus, Centaur
The guys at Campagnolo mixed MTB groups, occasionally using the same components.

first of all, some photoes of the individual groups

identical components for record OR and icarus

identical components for Icarus and Centaur

the group centaur is the only one with the brake levers in black plastic (even bullet combo), these brake levers are identified as "BL-02IC" and are Icarus

the first apparent difference is that the record OR's fifth chainring bolt is hidden behind the crankarm

Icarus's cranks are different from Centaur's because Icarus (as the record OR) uses a lockring for the inner and middle ring, while the Centaur uses a standard 5 bolt pattern

If you can read the teeth, the centaur is the only one with no gears microdrive, but standard 24-26/34-36/46-48,
icarus and record Or have the same 20-22/30-32/42-44

the difference between Record OR93 and Icarus is the spring adjustment nut (in the front on the record, behind the brake body on the icarus/centaur).
the difference between Record OR93 and Record OR94 is that the latter lost the front adjustment (now behind the brake body) and a has different brake pad adjustment hardware

Icarus and Record have a different system to bolt the cage to the derailleur body. Icarus has an external bolt, Record has the bolt in the back of the body, just like the road derailleurs, which are squarer on the left side, tho

the difference that you will notice right away is that the grease port is absent in the Centaur version, while the only difference I have found between Record OR and Icarus is that the locking nut is in aluminum only for record while it is in steel for Icarus and Centaur
