Think I have a black chainset habit :?

Cant help it, ever since I saw the 89 / 90s saracens with the black shimano kit on I,ve found myself just collecting them

They do look tasty when new. But can if not looked after age badly.

Got an XC ltd, Good Nic but sadly the LH isnt a perfect match fella

TT- I agree, My XT I've had from new and hardly ridden TBH , the rest I've picked up as and when I can

A real shame that suntour didnt, only one was the X-1 range, was nice.... came on the Lava dome as std, they then brought the X-1 chroma out ....... well cool Lycra matching groupset 8) - and quite rare!, onle remember seeing it as std on a halfords carrera, cant recall which model tho (picci below from mombat)
