Hi all

Been sent this way by the Bikeradar forums to try and identify a frame.

I think it's a Raleigh MTrax which has been resprayed black. I was given this by someone who didn't know much about it and didn't have time to do anything with it. I'm after a project, but I've got no idea if this is any good.

Anyone know anything about it?

I came here from bikeradar to, it is much better, friendlier and more interesting!

Sorry, I can't add anything about the frame, hope you enjoy it here.

Based on the head tube lugs and the wish bone rear stays, I'd say it looks like a 1991 Dyna Tech frame.

Have a look at the archive here: --> http://www.retrobike.co.uk/gallery2/v/M ... 1.pdf.html

If it is one of those, which it looks to be it is a nice frame 8) :D

Drystonepaul has it correct. It's a Dyna-Tech.

Dyna-Tech and M-Trax frames (maybe other Raleigh frames), can be dated from the prefix letter of the frame stamping (under the BB). A=1990, B=1991 etc. For example, my M-Trax is E, making it 1994. Your frame looks like a steel (with aluminium lugs) 2060 or 2070 frame from 1990 or 1991.
