Hello all,

I had been a member in teh past but lost interest in my last CB project...

I now have a Dawes Barrosa Anaconda, has been well used, but is in fair con.

Following std spec.

Style: Gents 26" Front suspension MTB
Wheel size: 26"
Frame size(s): 16" (41cm) & 18" (46cm)
Min. inside leg: 26" (66cm) & 28" (71cm)
Colour: White
Frame: Lightweight aluminium 6061 series tubing
Forks: Bravo 386-E suspension with lockout
Gears: 24
Gears rear: Shimano Altus
Gears front: Shimano SIS
Gear shifters: Shimano EZ Fire 24 speed
Chainset: SR Suntour 48/38/28T x 170mm alloy crank arms
Bottom bracket: Full ball bearings, adjustable
Freewheel: 8 speed cassette
Headset: Threaded 1.1/8"
Stem: Alloy A-head
Handlebars: Lo-rise
Brake front: Alloy V type
Brake rear: Alloy V type
Brake levers: Alloy, adjustable
Rims: Alloy
Hub front: Alloy
Hub rear: Alloy

Only problem i have is the chain does not sit right on the rear cassette or the front crank, as a result it slips, any idea what this could be?

Your chain is too long by the look of it. You can probably take out 6 links. Best to check it by putting it into the biggest cogs at back and front and then removing all slack.

Also, rear derailleur looks a bit sad - mebbe it's lost some springiness in the cage return.

Could be worn cogs at the back too..
