Hi there ive just brought some 2001 marzocchi supter t pro with 20mm axel and ive offerd my disk caliper (hope m4) onto the disk and there is about 5mm gap where they bolt onto the fork. i understand its because the hub is 20mm so different to when i had the brakes on my z1's but it this just a case of putting a spacer in or is there something else to do or buy.
cheers
Gareth

You might just need longer bolts to space the caliper further inboard of the mount?
Do you have a pic?

I'm guessing this is an IS caliper we are talking about? I think all M4's were. So yes as said above you will just need some longer bolts and the necessary amount of shims.

Buy a pack of each thickness and then you can fine tune your pad spacing.

older forks for 20mm needed alot of spacers, i used to run 2x2mm of these in mine..... http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... delID=3288 they are more reliable than using a load of washers on the caliper. it makes for a more positive feeling brake too.
