seiko kinetic watch capacitor replacement and repair

Hi all new to this corner of Retro bike , i have just come across this Seiko KINETIC quartz Titanium ,
5M43 , i know its not a divers but it has the 2 second tic , so as i understand it it does not hold a charge , so the question is were is the best place to get it repaired and how much ,

With the right tools you can do it yourself.
I've fixed loads of these.
But I'm sure your local jewellers could do it, or send it to seiko.
As for the cost, could be around £50 - £100. Depending on where you take it.

Just replaced the capacitor on my Seiko Kinetic Titanium and as you say with the right tools not a too bad a job ,( shame the small screws are not a bit bigger M3 :D ) the guys at " hi-beat " were really quick and the youtube guide was really good , also replaced the seal on the back . only time will tell if it was the right fix , next i might have a go at my very old Seiko mechanical chronograph watch :shock:
