I need to get back to my milling machine, maybe this year I will finish
some other things and get on to the mill. I suppose some people don't know
what it is, hard to believe? It's a 1985 Matsuura CNC mill, I bought it and it
was to big to put in my garage[one of the Ebay impulse buys], so I stripped
the huge old electronics off it and fitted it in the garage, now I have to replace all
the old electronics. I always get asked why do you want one, well I do.

You bought a full size CNC mill on an impulse?! I thought I was bad but...

Is it working? Are you any good with it? Only ask as I want to build a turntable at some point and would need parts I cant make on a lathe (I have one of them in my garage)

No never used any cnc stuff, but then I had never touched a lathe when I bought one, same for
milling machine, tig etc. How hard can it be;-)

It was so cheap it would have been rude not to have bought it.
