Don't often post on the site, more of a voyeur. Thought I'd share my newly built ride. Put together using stuff I had lying around. Was a little sceptical about how it would ride; I shouldn't have been, it was ACE!
Did an evening loop around Derwent Water (yes I used some illegal trails). Rode like a dream. Don't think it it'll get much use on some of the real rough stuff round here.
Thought the forks and stem might be too long; none of that, t'was perfect.
I didn't have time to take a decent set of piccies, but any idea on the model of Pro Class I have? I suspect the later '99 ones. I might go down the 'period correct route, but to be honest, I like the ride as is.
