in jan i got a kona lava dome frame and forks from mattbrown it was in a right state but after taking it to the local spray shop i got it re-sprayed to as close a match as possable i was quoted £85 and he was surposed to fill the dents wet finish it then apply the decals and clear lacour it but when i went to pick it up the price jumped to £120 the dents weren't filled the decals weren't fitted (on the pi55 decals) right and they hadn't lacoured it but i got my frame and forks back and he isn't getting paid :roll: :x :x :x :x.

now to the good bit iv'e lacoured it myself and the parts list is

frame. kona lava dome 1996.
forks. rock show judy sl's in yellow with speed springs
front wheel. white industry front hub laced with dt db spokes and green nips to sun 0 degree light rim 32 hole
rear wheel. white industry front hub laced with dt db spokes and green nips to sun 0 degree light rim 32 hole
cranks. white industry 170mm
chainrings. onza hardcoat chainrings.
shifters. sram srt800 gripshifters
rear mech. shimano xt m739
front mech. shimano xt m737
front brake. onza ho canti
rear brake. onza ho canti
brake levers. dia compe ss5 mk2
saddle. sella italia flite ti in black
seatpost. onza pro 27.0mm
seat clamp. kona
crank bolts. srp in green
bars. kona race light
stem. ? at mo
grips. odi attack
aheadset. chris king in silver
cassette. shimano xt m737 8spd
chain. sram pg890


thats it so far il update as i get more parts

Annoying re the pain but it looks great redecaled and all.

nice frame & parts - looking forward the final build - but do yourself and the stuff a favour - get rid of that pics. and replace it with better quality ones :)

it was im going back to aerocoat its worth the ride out there after pauls price hike and quality drop
