Lots of arguing and handbagging (mostly cuased by my hot headednessness) over here: http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... en&start=0

So I thought I'd start a fresh thread and see if anybody has some further ideas.

There are some notable differences to 501 frames, the rear canti bridge is higher quality as are the braze-ons. Comparing to my mate's very early Saracen shows only a superficial similarity as everything on mine is of a neater finish.

Anyway, its looking more like something from the Overbury's range - that would be nice as I've been after one for a while...

I have had the pleasure of seeing it in the flesh and it is lovely.

Now hurry up and decide its too big and/or old bikes are rubbish and sell it to me

I like that a lot. Whats going on with the rear outer brake cable?

extra length to allow for the big wide bars. It needs pulling through a bit.

My first bike had a plastic cable tidy that snapped after about a week but kept everything neat at the front

You know what that frame reminds me of?
