my mate daft davy dropped this off today
will get the forks tomorrow

a bit heftier than the other cro-mega i got from gtsteve
tubing size and layout is more like an al-mega

Yeah a nice '92 CroMega LX that. I got one of them, and you're right, they are quite 'hefty' :lol: :lol:

Bit of elbow grease though and it'll come up like the one in the link in my sig.....If you need any help trying to built it up with the right parts, give me a shout and I'll use mine as a reference point for you...

What were the differences in the tubing then? That does indeed look like an Al-Mega?

The 1992 cro-megas are just a bit beefier than the 1991 bikes.

seat post and bottom bkt are fine
its the headset i've got problems with
will await the rest of the forks then have another go
