Ok so over xmas i entered the 3 round of the thetford winter series and needed a bike so threw this together from what i had around and stole from my brother who has been collecting all manner of bike recently!
1996 m2 s-works frame
xtr v's
specialised strong arm cranks
xt rear mech
xt ft mech
use post
cncd softride allsop stem
hope ft hub
xt rear both on wide mavic cd rims
flite ti saddle
generic cro mo forks
michelin wildgripper tyres

bike rode so well and got so much attention at the race! Will be staying for a while!

cheers guys tyres really set it off just need some longer rigid forks for it steers a bit quick needs some around 420mm iirc.

stem was great its got a heavy spring so wound the preload up and worked great! and yeah green and purple should always be seen!
