Sounds daft I know, but I've seen a Sandy with a long rear shock and then a 24 inch rear wheel to lower the bike.

I've been looking at that photo................ :?

I think they are maybe only 20" rims.

Is there a clever way to calculate the rim size just by looking at the image? :?

p.s. The distance from the swingarm pivot to the rear wheel spindle is 19".

made some more progress tonight.........its pretty much done.

just needs the black dmr v12 pedals that the pace is lending, the bolts checked and tightened and a oil.

fitted the brake adaptor from my other san andreas as that is still in frame stage, rear caliper went on no problem, just going to add a couple of washers to space the bolts on the adaptor as they are pretty close to the disc, other than that it was a straight bolt on job.

i wouldnt mind getting the rear brake hosing lower to the swingarm, sticks up at the minute.....

just need someone tall to ride it now

been out for a little ride tonight to test if it was ok for saturday

my back has been really sore all week so i aint been on a bike since a little ride on sunday morning.........riding bumblebee was fine though, like sitting on a waterbed!!!!!!!

quite happy with it, and its a laugh to ride. will change the tyres when i get a chance as the front could do with being wider and the rear could do with more grip.

piccies..........
