1997 Rocky Mountain Altitude to

Thought this might be appreciated here. Folks turn their noses up at it in Asia as they probably don't understand the pedigree and generally have never even heard of RM.

Still being used every week to hit the real mountains in Asia- albeit on road. Once I can source the parts to restore the original Judy SLs I'll have it back in factory spec.
Without a doubt the fastest MTB I've ever had the pleasure of turning the cranks.

very, very nice - those cranks suites the bike perfect

but this bike deserves "real MTB tires", than it would be ace ;)

Thanks for all your comments.
I still have the original tyres, with only about 50kms on them. I'll dress her up and let you folks see her in all her glory.
It's sacrilegious to tell you that the bike's not been off road for about 9 years as it's slightly too big for me. But it's not a trophy hanging on the wall either as it's a perfect road fit and makes a couple of mountain passes a month.

Very nice.

I had a 96 Altitude t.o in green/silver fade for years. The best 'feeling' frame I have ever had.

One of the greatest steal frames ever built, regardless of cost. Fact! :D

welcome and glad to see you posted this in the reader's forum. there's never "too many" RMs! ;)
