It's been too cold and/or wet even here in Florida, to finish my Yokota, so I had to get my fix by just buying another frame!

The new addition... polished up, stays taped, ready to go!:cool:

That cleaned up really nicely. I was one of the watchers but not a bidder if that is the one from the 'Bay recently.

Simple Green and Turtle Wax with a polishing pad. It came back very easily. The paint blems I hit with Testors Deep Yellow, which is a perfect match.

It is the one from eBay. I probably paid a bit too much for it, but I'm smitten with the idea that it has the original fork, post, stem and bar. Plus we don't get an opportunity to buy these down here in the south, so when one pops up, you gotta take your lumps if you really want it! :LOL:
 
Indeed. And given how well it has cleaned up I think you did pretty well.

Good eye. I did that in the cleanup process. The frame came with two extra sets of Rocky Mountain fork decals, and I replaced the Tange MTB pink decals with a set of the replacements.

You don't miss much! :cool:
