Rocky Mountain Transpo (1984)

unafraid

Dirt Disciple
Me and my dad's 1984 Rocky Mountain Transpo. Shimano Light Action group. The only non-stock parts are the tires and the Deore XT rear derailleur. Pretty cool bike, funky geometry, nice manganese fork.

And while at it, the bike my Ritchey P-22 is going to replace: a 2006 Norco EXC 1.0 HT. Took the picture after a ride in wet snow in late November. The rear cassette was pretty much solid block of ice.

 wow, that's one unique looking RM! yes more pics please!

the norco… i like not so much.

Be careful, I work for Norco... :) But seriously, I've raced and tested (when I was writing for a bike magazine) various brands and Norco bikes have always been solid performers. They've been around for 45+ years and it shows.

It might take a while before I post more pictures of the Transpo, it's winter over here. Maybe in May or June I'll be able to.
