Spotted this frame for sale on here before Xmas and having always loved the paintwork i had to have it.
I was originally worried that being an 18" it may be too small but it fits me (6ft 2") perfectly.
If the snow ever clears i will give it its 1st ride.

tis indeed a nice paint job, look forward to hearing your thoughts, kaiser had a similar aged GT and he raved about it (til he sold it  )

Thanks Gaz, might try a short ride tomorrow if it doesnt snow anymore, my works van is stuck fast in the snow on my drive at the moment :(

the front end offers a nice flush of colour without ruining it.

I was going to get the forks powder coated yellow, but liking it as it is now.

Just been out for the 1st ride for ages on the Tequesta and thought I would update this thread with a few better pics :)

NICE ! I have same year Backwoods frame.
Currently getting together, I noticed from your earlier pix is the yellow
quite 'egg yolk' colour. It looks in new pix like your Rock shox are a
lighter yellow. Tho still looks cool.

Are your flames decals or painted ?
Any tips colour matching or decals greatly appreciated.
