i realise im now going to make myself look like a complete plank.... but what is the spring coming off the seatpost for? is it a suspension post? its realy hard to see it :cry:

It's a seat height adjustment tool. You can drop your seat and lock it down, and then when you want to raise it again the spring puts it back in the same position you had it.

Called a HeightRight i think, noticed them on Breezers too.

thanks for the comments folks will need to get some descent pics if the sun ever shines again :roll:

I'm just waiting on some period brake blocks and I think she will be finished :D
