The paint is not original. I think Adam had it sprayed before selling it to Rascal who sold it to me before I swapped it with Dave , phew .... this bike really has done the RetroBike circuit.
I actualy think the P2's look better than the Track Two's did on it.

Good job Dave.

After a good thrash today, the indexing has gone south (gotta love bedding in cables)

Cheers for the comments guys, I'm really really pleased with her... Looking at the side-on pic has totally reminded me why I never ever run long-cage rear mechs!

Hello. Haven't been here for a while. Just looked back and apart from my last four posts, my last one was October! How time flies....when you have kids!

I had the frame resprayed when I got it. To begin with, all Konas were available in Black, as well as their offered colours (or splatters!) and the decals are NOS not copies. So it does have a fair bit of authenticity!

I am really glad to see it built up. You have done it proud! Good work. :D

Rode her into work today as the sun was shining bright - stuck her on the scales and she came in at a svelte-ish 25lbs on the nail. Not bad for a 17yr-old bike really!
