Starting a £50 3.0 series Cannondale frame build over the holidays - any thoughts on the trimmings.....

I've always liked that paintjob mate, very cool...... That must be the longest haed tube I've ever seen! especially on a dale...... :shock:

my that is a big head tube :lol:

repainting it or just building it ?

i've got a later 3.8 series m300 ,its a gate but its really nice to ride

I've got a picture for making a comparison with mine, so smaller ! :D

but you have found the fork ?

In my opinion : black, black, black. Only black. If possible, a deore XT M730 groupo, and... Amber side tires. ( look at my EST for an idea)

Pierre,

I found a long Spinner-style NOS fork in the US - it is fine for now (but not a Ritchey Logic...) - and feel lucky to do so, as all you smaller guys keep chopping down our man-sized forks! ;-)

Although it has a big head tube (for a Cannondale) the top tube length is only 23" (my prefered dimensions). Because of the rising top tube, I am thinking about trying some WTB drop bars on this frame....
