Just picked up my latest ebay purchase from a very snowy Brighton!
Its a very original 1991(?) Stumpjumper Comp thats had two owners from new.
Only non-originals are the tyres and saddle. Frame is in great condition and will look pretty much mint once its been cleaned and had the T-cut treatment.
Full XT kit all in fantastic nick and just needing cleaning.
Hoping to get time over xmas to strip and clean and have her ready for the new year.
May invest in some new Stumpjumper decals as they have a couple of marks.
Anyhow, here is a pic of how she is right now without any work.....

And the price you ask...... £51!

Brighton bikes tend to be a little corroded in exciting places - drip some 3 in 1 oil on the seatpost area, pedals, mech springs, headset etc and leave it over night - it should then come apart very easily in the morning.

Due to the weather preventing the delivery of the partsI need to do my job, I had a free afternoon today.
Didn't waste it.....

Stripped and washed

Really pleased so far. There are a few chips to sort out but the paint has come up a treat.
Need to give the components a damn good degrease and polish but hoping this willlook lovely when done :D
