My early 90s Zaskar LE

Not sure if it is bad taste posting this right next to that sweet Lightning but here goes.

This is my trusty Zaskar LE. After trashing three Cannondales in a row with cracks around the seat collar I decided to build up a bomb-proof ride.
Not sure what year exactly this is, 92 or 93 I think. Because I worked in a bike store the build was in constant flux, part-wise. This final build is how it looked when I left the store and moved to the US in 1998.

Please note the blue anodized Ringle seat collar.
Cranks are the original I-beam Raceface and that's an Avid micro-adapter for granny-gear. Remember those?
The fork's a Mag21, one of the first we got into our store. Still works like new.
Brakes are the red Tomac Magura hydraulics.

I should probably give it a deep cleaning and polish to make it sparkle but there is something fundamentally wrong with a clean mountain bike imho.
