This reminded me so much of the E-stay Saracen I had and stupidly sold.

Anyway, enjoyed doing this, piss easy restoration, everything moved nicely.

a mix of components screaming out for black Deore LX :D

just waiting on a nice long black stem to turn up and needs some new grips

I like it!

Wowzers......... you dont waist much time :) Looks awsome, spot of luck that the old switchblades fitted :shock:

We will have to get an Early Saracen meet sorted after winter, they certainly seem to be all the rage at the mo :cool:

'after winter' ? surely that takes the fun out of taking a British bike out in its element?

Yea but pub lunches and cold pint in the beergarden arn't quite the same, My Trekker is a dry weather only Saracen ;) and only comes out in the sunshine :cool:
 
IMHO i wouldn't fit a black stem. The bike looks great as it is :cool:
