Found this little Cream puff a little while back. Only changes were some first Gen clipless pedals.

Enjoy:

Thanks for brightening my day. Very nice clean build. Original paint?

Yes original paint.
Heck original cables and housing for that matter.
The bike hung has upside down on some hooks in a garage for the past twenty years.

The only thing not original on the bike would be the pedals which I upgraded to some first generation clipless Shimano's.

Cheers,
T

Ductape, very nice

Avion - These are the Japan made Ibis', are they? Who made them? Toyo?

It looks well put together, but Tange MTB is relatively crude material for what you would expect from an Ibis yes.

12k,

First Flight was kind enough to post an old magazine article on the Avion. Explains the bike better than I ever could, check the article 1987:

http://mombat.org/Ibis.htm

And here is their Avion:

http://www.firstflightbikes.com/Avion.htm

Correct, Japanese made..
