Ok got it last week. Stripped down and rebuilt with some new parts to see how we get on.

Can someone give me a luddites guide to adding photos please. Files seem too big. Nae a clue as to how to do this type of technology stuff.

Ally.

Aye need to change the chainset, but ran out of money. I got the bike complete with Manitou 4's, stem was too short, so changed forks, stem, seatpost, tires, front brake and a few other bits.

Clamps I drilled and rear brake lever slotted myself.

The frame looks to be in very good condition, and it's a really good quality frame, excellent buy.

My only component regret is the black post. The silver stem I like, and I'm sure the colour scheme was designed with silver parts in mind, but a silver stem and a black post rarely look right together IMHO.

I know life is too hard up there in the frozen wastes for southern softies like me, but I didn't realise you needed Trailrakers in September! That's my winter tyre.
