Arrived wednesday, unpacked yesterday... a fairly stock Kilauea, something i've wanted since i was a teenager! its not in quite as goo dnick as i thought it would be from the photos but its very nice!

Frame: 18" Kilauea 1997 vintage so Columbus Cyber Nivachrom tubing

23lbs with Tioga Psycho / Kona Sniff tyres (as in photos)
21.8lbs with Conti GPs!

with all the jobs around the house this weekend + daughter's 4th birthday I've not had a chance yet to get pedals on and cables sorted :? can't wait to get it on/off the road !!
 
just sorted the cables and put on some SPD pedals and the Conti GPs, its fast as @!$% on the road :LOL:

think i cut the front mech + rear brake cable too short though :oops:

anyway, in road mode it weighed in at 21.8lbs!
 
Bollocks! Just like the one I've just sold....
I was just stripping it down ready for posting, and thinkink what a cracker it would be with lighter kit on, especially wheels!
Already lightning fast just about anywhere, but just that teensy bit big for me. :roll:
